Little Sphynkers Cattery
Personality:
The hairless factor and beauty of the sphynx  is what started our fascination for the breed, but
the personality is what accelerated it.
When we purchased our first one we expected her to be like a regular cat, but hairless. We did
not expect her to be so vocal and so inquisitive. The sphynx cat is bursting with personality!

Special Needs
Since the sphynx are hairless they do have a few needs that other cats don't.

Bathing:
Sphynx cats need to be bathed about once every two weeks because they have no hair and
are pretty much just skin. It is really easy to do since you start acclimating them to baths at a
young age, just use a gentle cat shampoo or baby shampoo, wash cloth and warm water.

Ear Care:
Cleaning the ears is a must to prevent infections and keep them looking great. Since the
sphynx breed lacks the protective ear hairs other cats have to block out debris you notice the
earwax more--so you will need to clean the ears with a cotton ball or Q-tip and cleaning
solution.
